One of my top 10 finger licking episodes!

I just simply love this episode, it's hilarious seeing Jerry turn into Kramer after sleeping in his apartment and vise versa with Kramer taking on Jerry's personality. Great send up of Apocalypse Now with Peterman at the end another around gem!

Indescribable

How can one describe this episode to anyone. Here are the bits. Kenny Rogers has a chicken franchise. He puts it up across the street from Jerry's apartment. The bright red lights of the sign shine in Kramer's apartment creating a version of hell. Kramer is more wacko than usual. Jerry agrees to switch apartments (how absurd is that) and when he sleeps over there, he starts to become Kramer. While all this is happening, Elaine is misappropriating funds from the business she was trusted with and it comes under the scrutiny of the overseers. She lets George buy a giant Russian sable hat on her expense account. But it is worth 8000 dollars and she needs it back. George is going with a woman who doesn't like him. After a bad first date, he leaves the hat in her apartment so he will have to go back for it and she will change her mind about him. The hat is lost and Elaine ends up in Myanmar to talk to her boss, who is now nuts. It's a redo of Apocalypse Now's last scenes. Kramer begins protesting the chicken place but he and Newman become obsessed with the wonderful Kenny Rogers chicken. So you get it now. Amazing nuttiness.

Broccoli in chocolate sauce. That blew my mind.

October Seventh 2023rd

What occurred in this episode of Seinfeld?:

George tries to get. 2nd date and steals a Clock.

Kramer is addicted to Kenny's Chicken.

Jerry becomes Kramer and makes an off screen pal lose a job

Elaine gets in trouble for. Spending her jobs money. *rolls eyes*

Postal worker Newman assists in Kramers chicken addiction. Plus drinks honey mustard sauce

The story and the production overview:

Kramers and Jerry's storyline were the most interesting.

George was only good because the way he said Cos-tan-za

Elaine's story was a head scratcher. How could Elaine be so duh. Her character is a turn off.

Highlight:

Caw-stan-za

Villian:

Elaine for spending the jobs money

Jerry for making his pal lose a job

Kramer. For. Lying to Jerry and messing up his bed sheets. And his sidekick postal worker Newman.

Laugh meter: 9

Girlfriend attractiveness level:

George's girl was a pretty 8. Only had a face tho.

Rating:

Love it.

Last Words:

Vile weed. And that's 1 for our team.

The Red Room

Warning: Spoilers
In "The Chicken Roaster" Jerry gets an old college buddy fired when he convinces him to skip a meeting so the two can grab lunch. Elaine gets in trouble for misappropriation of company money when she buys George an expensive hat. George leaves behind the hat at a dates' place so he has an excuse to come back. Kramer can no longer sleep in his room due to a new neon sign for a friend chicken restaurant across the street. Kramer is torn when he gets addicted to the chicken.

George's hat in this is great and his second date strategy is a classic George scheme. Also, anytime J. Peterman is in an episode I'm happy! Maybe not the best of Season 8, but still fairly solid.

I like the bit where Jerry and Kramer switched apartments and personalities this episode showed that Jerry can actually act unlike what everyone says.

Apocalypse Now
safenoe26 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
The Chicken Roaster, from season eight of Seinfeld, is one of those episodes where the sums don't quite match the whole or perhaps I'm misquoting that I guess. The J. Peterman parody of Apocalypse Now was hilariously spot-on, and really captured the Brando role in that movie. Anyway, the light in Kramer's apartment is probably familiar to apartment residents who live in say Las Vegas or Hong Kong and have to put up with the constant neon lights.

Wesley Leong guest stars as the Clerk and Christopher Aguilar guest stars as the Burmese Boy. Ruth Cohen makes one of her numerous appearance as Ruthie Cohen.

I like the bit where this was, yet again, another decent episode in the series. Kudos, 'Seinfeld' writers!
