THE STINGER is something of a weak, race-themed episode. Lucas is the central character which is always a no-no for me as I find him mildly irritating. He's involved in a competition to build new, efficient, single-seated submersibles, but his competitors are using underhand tactics. The plot is unusually light given previous instalments that played out.
