GAMES is a straightforward villain-of-the-week type episode of the show: a lot of running around, a lot of threats, menace, and characters thinking on their feet and acting quickly to outwit the bad guy. Alan Scarfe makes for an effective screen menace, just as he did in the Van Damme flick DOUBLE IMPACT, and the story all but flies along in its quest to entertain.

The Best Seaquest Has To Offer!

Warning: Spoilers
While its true that most of the episodes of Seaquest were less than perfect (to put it politely), "Games" is one of the few gems of the entire series. The crew of Seaquest is responding to a distress call from an arctic prison, only to pick-up a bio-warfare criminal Dr. Rubin Zweller (excellently portrayed by Alan Scarfe), who proceed to hold the ship hostage with the threat of a bio-toxin.
This episode highlights the excellent acting abilities of Roy Scheider and Stephanie Beacham as they try to figure out Zweller ultimate goal and stop him. In addition most of the rest of the cast each get use each of their individual talents which was rarely used throughout most of the show.
