Gabe Dell as the gunman

"The Suitcase Case" opens with Fred questioning his son's taste in junk, since nothing he brings home seems to have any value: "what do you mean, how long have I been with you, since I was born!" "has it been that long?" Fred tries to teach his son a lesson by opening a beat up leather satchel, only to find a fortune in $100s, $50s, and $20s. Lamont figures that it was a bank robbery, crook A leaving the goods for crook B, who couldn't get there before he did: "I don't care if C, D and E are lookin' for Y-O-U, I'm not gonna give up this M-O-N-E-Y!" A discussion ensues as to keep the money or turn it in, inadvertently locked in a safe before the gun wielding perpetrator shows up, played by former Dead End Kid/Bowery Boy Gabe Dell (later seen in "The Big Party"). Officers Swanny (Noam Pitlik, fourth of six) and Smitty come to the rescue, following a few anxious moments.
