And ourselves. Season 2 is insane and nonsensical. WB wanted the show to be Charmed and BTVS with aliens, way too fast. So writers rushed things, and the result is abysmal. You even sense some of the younger cast realized that, and decided to just have fun, and not care about looking ridiculous. Good... But no plot was more ridiculous than the NYC doppelgängers, and the way they were portrayed. As a Michael/Maria fan, I prefer the Laurie Dupree file episodes. Or even the Skins storyline... Only we can all agree, on how bad these still were. Viva Las Vegas is fun. And it's a nice throwback to The end of The World episode. It is usually the one I watch, before a long hiatus to carry on with the prom and « dead Alex » storylines... Characters react exactly the way they should, there. Though a little stereotypical around the edge, they are back to being a real group of friends. With everything that it implies. And that's the strongest suit of the season, the special bound you sense on and even, off screen. Valenti's freak out at the end, is one of my favorite parts... Unfortunately, I still can't go past the deplorable music changes. However, the Vegas setting and Majandra Delfino's performances, are welcomed re-additions. Ones they had no problems paying rights for I guess...
