Better than sex
CursedChico15 November 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Better than sex.

It is interesting, they cant do sex. Not because they live in a small, conservative town. Not because their families are conservative about sex.

Max and liz dont do sex because their "making out" part is realyl enjoyable. They dont need to go further now :) and they also investigate and get clues from those moments.

Maybe max was right. They need to create physical and mental connections to "human"s to see those things. It is interesting.

Did max's mother stop wondering about those magical things of max? we dont know. The sceneriao does not show everything. Some events stay hidden.

Healing Passion
hellraiser726 January 2019
This is my fifth favorite episode of the show, this is not an episode you'd see every day, I'll admit this is the kind of episode I never thought I'd ever see, it's almost feels like one Paul Verhoeven would have directed as this episode is erotic drama. It's true that by today's standards in most TV shows they have scenes of eroticism but never a full episode based on it as this was one of the first and still the best in my book.

There's not a lot I can say about this episode as it's basically, we see both Liz and Max are in the heat of passion. I really like how the making out scenes are executed and how both are exercising their feelings as there is innocence to it. One scene that were interesting and beautiful was a little moment when Liz drops the pencil on purpose and Max touches her fingers, she gets some images in her mind and then of course she gives a slight orgasmic cry in the classroom. Its mas have just been a little touch but that touch is enough to ignite the strong passion now heating up to smoldering hot.

I even like there are some sexual overtones in these episodes like the Strawberries which are of course consider a fruit to awaken passion. Or even the fact that both Liz and Max both are in the same chemistry class. I even like some of the dialog in this episode, one thing I really liked hearing Liz say is, "I can't stop" I thought "yeah don't".

I really like how both Max and Liz react and feel about what their doing as their both excited and scared, it's easy to relate to like with most people that start to experience these feelings for the first time toward another. From Liz whom is now just discovering feelings of passion she never knew she had and a new feature or two with Max, despite an experienced welder of his power there are still some things about his alien biology and culture he doesn't know about, likewise with the human side.

The flashing images is interesting, which is obviously metaphor for sex because the thing about making love is you are literally letting someone inside you both physically but also depend on how deep the connection is intimate/spiritual; it really feels like you are starting to become one person as we see in the shared memories both have.

Max and Liz make beautiful chemistry.

All of this non-scifi stuff messed up the show.

This was the beginning of the end for this show. If this is what you like there's plenty of soaps out there. Why not watch them? This is why the shiw was cancelled.
