Liz is experiencing "powers" but I don't think its the first time why, when Max is in NY she started then by "reaching out" to warn him, which is in my thinking when some changes took place, she was learning to expand her mind, which is what Max, Micheal and Isabel do. This episode has her powers growing, (just a episode ago we learned Micheal moved a table and didn't know how he did it didn't know about powers and Max not knowing he could heal a bird this is in the 1st season) so now she will learn how to control them.
Maria has a chance a change too, to leave and go to NY to record a record, even though her idea of her music is a lot diff from the so called record label (ya OK they might be real but...) does she want to loose herself and poss make a lot of money or be true to herself, is money more important than well life. (money can change a person and it seems for quite a few the change is not good)
Kyle has always had the "nightmare" about changing but I am not convinced he will, not the same connection to Max, but he has grown into a true friend. (Max heal those children, again not the same connection to Max so no powers? and well Brody was healed not by Max, but no powers just used as a way to communicate so well my thinking is that Kyle and the children wont get them of ever have need of them?? OK just going on an on an well just thinking outside box).
Max is lost, finally being asked why he betrayed Liz (ok ya Liz pretended to first to save the world), and giving even more "power" to Liz, by "healing" her again, but what was influences her growing power is Max and how he hurt, still does by always talking about his son. Ya the outside thing, but again why Kyle may not have powers, because Liz loves Max and was so hurt by him that changes happened.
Micheal, he was thinking that Maria was coming back to him so he ended up even more confused, but he was right about 1 thing Maria should have let Jesse look at the papers before signing.
Well my thoughts on this episode, its weird its been 11yrs since it ended and even though is was on a few yrs after my HS grad, still enjoyed it. Would have been nice if they could have had more and expanded it instead of having to rush it... oh well maybe could/can come up with a where and what are they doing now as they travel an keep ahead of those "bad guys" , but don't think I would want it with other actors/actresses....Have a great day/night everyone who might read this
