Celebrations for Rigsby as he's visited by a Solicitor, and given some wonderful news. Uncle George has kicked the bucket, and left Rigsby his entire estate, £50,000, Rigsby is in the money, all he need doz is prove he's still married to his wife, Veronica.
Without any doubt this is one of the funniest episodes in the show's history. Leonard Rossiter is at his absolute best, he is hilarious, his bribery of Miss Jones with shag piles is just wonderful, the two are incredible together.
I'd also put this as perhaps my favourite episode for Miss Jones too, she's delightful at playing Veronica, and the scene between her and the real one is delightful. Gretchen Franklin is cracking as cranky deaf old Aunt Maud too. I love that we see 'Rupert's wife.
9/10 one of the best.
