The crew discover a ship on an ice planet containing a frozen body.
This episode has an excellent plot with a strong sci-fi concept and in comparison to most other series 7 episodes the comedy is reasonably good. Unfortunately it continues the insecure Kryten characterisation that I find far more annoying than funny.
As Red Dwarf stories go this is one of the best of the entire show as it's quite compelling and whilst also presenting plenty of opportunities for humour.
The comedy is the strongest since Stoke Me A Clipper, containing some great situations, funny gross-out moments and some decent banter. However when Kryten goes into whine mode again over his insecurities regarding Kochanski this is as irritating as ever.
All performances are strong with Craig Charles standing out at the centre of everything that happens.
This is a good first part that I hope will have a decent conclusion with the season finale.
