Episode #3.1

I liked to see Emmett and Ted trying to start their relationship. It was very well done. Them worrying about the effect it may have on their friendship and the moments in bed were very good written and performed. It has both humor and sensibility in it which I like a lot.

The confrontation between Justin and Michael was also good. Say what you want but I see where Michael is coming from. While I do believe that Justin should stay friends with everyone I do see Micvhael's side very well. It is just that he goes with emotion, not logic. Brian hitting him made me mad, but I did like how he came to make thinks good between them. Although I wish it wasn't a bloody animal corpse, this is just gross.

"Christ Brian! How'd you get in here?" "My widdle key." ~Michael and Brian

This premier of Season three was absolutely magical, and it reminded me a lot of the pilot episode. We are essentially re-introduced to the characters through almost completely different perspectives. It's incredible to think of how much they have all changed and grown as people. I still stand firm on thinking that Michael is being completely unreasonable toward Justin. He told him to leave because everyone didn't want him around anymore, but why would he do that? Was he so selfish that he couldn't see anyone's perspective but Brian's? I actually rather liked it that Brian punched Michael in the face, he deserved it after all of the hurtful things he said toward Justin. Everyone's new hairstyles were very noticeable, and I have to say that I love them. From Brian's new "shaggy" look to Justin's longer blonde hair to Michael's cute and somewhat shorter hair, I loved them all. I think my favorite scene in the episode was when Justin came to Brian's loft to get his things and he remembered all of the times that they had been together. It was really sweet and kind of sad when Justin just left. Brian seemed completely heartbroken over Justin leaving, which is no surprise considering how much Brian loved Justin. Ben continues to be just as awesome as ever when he decides to move in with Michael and Emmett. It was so weird seeing Emmett and Ted together, but Peter Paige and Scott Lowell really made those scenes work. The end was rather disturbing, but really sweet and sad at the same time. Overall a very solid first episode to season three!
