"Well, for once the fact that you screw everything that moves is your finest quality and your best defense." ~Melanie

In another fabulous episode of Queer as Folk, Brian continues to go through troubling times. With the sexual harassment lawsuit, he finds himself reevaluating his life and looking for ways to fix it. Emmett pursues a straight relationship, which eventually leads to an amazing speech from Ted in the episode's conclusion. There's loads of drama between David and Michael after Michael lies to him about seeing Brian. Fans of Brian/Michael are given plenty of spectacular scenes here, including one at Woody's where the two of them go crazy playing guitar. In a selfless act, Justin pursues the gay man that is trying to sue Brian and he basically takes control. Randy Harrison is spectacular in the encounter. Overall one of my favorite episodes, and one of the most moving. The end of the episode was fantastic as always, with a nice close on Justin/Brian. PERFECT!

What makes this episode for me is the Emmett story. So many great moments! I love how Emmett and his female date run into Ted and Mel. I find their attempts to have sex amusing. The scene when Ted and Michael visit him at his circle of light was absolutely perfect and brings tears to my eyes. The scene in Babylon where Ted has tears in his eyes is amazing as well, all the emotions so well played! And I am glad it had a happy ending for everyone. It was so far one of my favorite story lines of the show.

Can't stand Brian though. I knew that unfortunately he once again will get out of trouble, but I disliked the way it happened. I like Justin probably even less than Brian. He is actually an uglier version of Brian, but just as arrogant and nasty.

And Brian acting like an arrogant POS in David's office and this way somehow being the great guy helping Michael is laughable. David should have broken every bone in his face after he smoked in his office and threw a cigarette in his cup
