Rifts galore!
PoisonKeyblade12 December 2007
"I didn't know you were into bears! I thought you preferred the young, hairless, not-admitted-without-a-parent-or-guardian type!" ~Melanie

This episode was all about rifts, and I liked it a lot. The beginning of a rift between Emmett and his friends. The expansion of the rift between Melanie and Lindsay. More about the rift between Michael and Brian. What makes this episode so fun is that it is so soaked in drama. It's all about two of our favorite characters getting back together after a disastrous event in the previous episode. Michael is making his transition to living with Dr. David, but he's not exactly sure that he likes it. Ted becomes Brian's right-wing man while Michael is MIA, and Ted basically picks up on discarded, Brian-rejected 'tricks', saying it's the best thing that's ever happened to his love life. There are several interesting/creative scenes (the best being a really good sex montage) in this episode, but it wasn't my favorite. It did however feature one of my favorite scenes: Brian and Justin eating ice cream together.

I liked this episode. It was nice to see Brian missing Michael and suffering for being so bad to him. Justin was very sweet in this episode trying to get the two back together, I found his idea to exchange their orders very funny. Also would like to point out that when Michael found out how bad Brian feels he came to him and he didn't bring up Brian's actions or tried to get an apology. Michael is the selfless friend

What I also loved was the conversation between Michael and Tracy. In this case he was the one who had to pay for misleading her. And I love the dialogue, what they said to each other felt so real and honest.

And another great story is Michael and David dealing with moving together and trying to compromise

Interesting to see Emmett in the group trying to become straight. Wonder where they will go with this.
