Parker Lewis's Day Off ;)
vex86bird28 June 2007
Reminiscent of Ferris Bueller, Parker finds himself having a good time while having to avoid authority. To help Jerry through his turbulent first date at a nearby college Parker and Mikey try to help out and give guidance. Parker blew off helping Musso by telling Grace he had to help his father, and blew off his father with the excuse he had to help Grace. Sure enough Mr. Lewis and Grace Musso find their way to the college causing added tension as Parker and Mikey must avoid them while trying to help Jerry. The episode is ++ as Jerry's imaginary older self constantly hurts his self esteem and Parker ducks in and out trying to assist their friend. The whole bit with Larry going through his growth spurts is funny to and the ZZ Top reference tops it off.

Jerry and Jerry

Warning: Spoilers
I'm very much enjoying re-watching Parker Lewis Can't Lose, having first watched it when it debuted in the early 1990s. Anyway, here Jerry falls head over heels with Melissa, played by A. J. Langer, who looks so much like Lea Thompson who was famous for Back to the Future and Howard the Duck. Anyway, Jerry meets Future Jerry, and I loved the way Jerry, Parker and Mikey stuck together through thick, thin and wall painting. The closing gag was hilarious, featuring Frank Lemmer played by Taj Johnson. It's a shame Frank was written out of season three.

Also, a shout-out to Russell Denove, the Associate Producer of this fine series.
