The One Where Brooke Likes Lucas...

Warning: Spoilers
I really enjoyed this episode. It's a really good continuation from the first two episodes of the series.

In this episode, Lucas starts becoming more and more popular by the minute, which of course, makes Nathan jealous. Nathan starts looking for a way to get Lucas off the team, and his life back to "normal". Meanwhile, Brooke starts to get a crush on Lucas, and even strips in the back of his car. And Peyton becomes furious with Lucas, because he submitted her artwork to a local newspaper, without her permission.

Overall, I give this episode an 8 out of 10, which in my ratings book is: Awesome.

Don't say I never gave you anything

Warning: Spoilers
Keith and Hayley are definitely stuck in the friend zone with Karen and Lucas, however the difference is that Hayley is OK with being friends, whereas it seems Keith wants more. Karen can't be that oblivious and what does it say of her characters to encourage the situation. Though Hayleys comment about blonde Viking guys are hot is confused. Lucas is blonde, was she trying to say she thinks he is hot. Everything else says no, so this line seemed out of place.

Lucas removed the Scott name from the back of his basketball top because he didn't want to be owned or something. If this is the case, why not change his name? It's so conflicting and inconsistent.

I'm not clear on the motives behind Nathan asking Hayley for tutoring. We know Nathan's word in the Hemingway exercise was Revenge. Is this his way of getting to Lucas? Though he seems genuine, and seemed shocked when a mate referred to Hayley as "slumming it". Perhaps I'm just falling for his charm just like Hayley.

Also it seems like these Scott men are born terrible, and its only through the influence of wonderful women that they turn good. Are the Scott men that manipulatable?

Overall this episode continues to develop the complex relationships between the characters with a focus on keeping secrets, that are leaving me guessing and slightly frustrated - two points worth of frustrated.
