Felix,Oscar and Nancy are on their way to a costume party and get locked in the basement.
This is one of the funniest episodes in a frequently used type of story in sitcoms, as cast members are stuck in a locked room. It starts off with Felix in a devil costume and Oscar doesn't have a costume for the party. One of the funniest lines as Oscar looks around his room for an idea and says "I can wear the bedspread and go as a germ" Felix-"Why don't you wear the whole room and go as the plague?" There are some good direction by Jerry Belson and funny scenes in the basement as Felix goes into a dumb waiter and tries to get help from other tenants. He has funny encounters with an elderly couple (the husband is jealous of his wife) and Phillip who is trying out his chemistry set.This was the last of the laugh track episodes, but this is a very good one, and the later seasons in front of a live audience increased the hilarity.
