Just wrong

Warning: Spoilers
The writing has really gone down now. There is no really-good reason for Marissa to be expelled and then the evil dean kicks someone -- anyone (Marissa) -- out of a carnival that can be attended by the general public, at least anyone invited -- just lazy and stupid writing/situation.

And then, there they go, writing Ryan protecting a girl again, fighting again . . . key word there is "again" as in, not creative.

It seems like the original producers and writers only planned for a one-year show never believing it'd sell for more, and they plum ran outta ideas for conflict/tension and character development. Ryan, great starter character in Season 1, is stunted almost beyond belief. Oh, and no one can be happy like, ever, for more than a nanosecond.

Welcome Taylor!

Warning: Spoilers
Social Chair Marissa tries to plan this year's carnival but is having much difficulty due to a little pest named Taylor. Sandy is surprised to find Kirsten has been released from rehab but instead of informing him, she has been living with another woman named Charlotte who she met in rehab. Julie and Sandy meet with the Dean and Dr. Kim to discuss Ryan and Marissa's future at Harbor High. Later Ryan and Marissa partake in a similar meeting. Elsewhere Jimmy meets a man and feels more than open to discuss his money problems with him.

First of all, in this episode we are introduced to the lovely Autumn Reeser! It's really funny where Taylor starts and where she ends. She is like the most annoying blonde ever, but she'll be the cutest girl besides Summer.

The Shape of Things to Come (#3.2)

Warning: Spoilers
Coopers and Cohens are having trouble as Marissa and Ryan may get expelled from school. Ryan manages to get by but Marissa is out. The Carnival is being organized and Summer fights Taylor who is now taking over Marissa's responsibilities. Marissa comes for the carnival and the Dean wants her out, so Ryan punches him and is expelled as well.

I really hope it will get better as those episodes are less good than most. The whole scene between dean and Ryan at the carnival was just dumb. Including deans evil laughter and the whole speech on how he thought it would be hard to expel Ryan. It is amazing they even expelled Marissa, no matter how I think she is responsible this is not the story their police has and this is what the school would consider.

The story with Kirsten is kind of weird. It may go a good way though, so lets see, although I don't expect too much as her story sucked all last season.

This new character Taylor is pretty great though, I expect some fun coming from her in the future.
