The Rager (#2.19)
ComedyFan201015 September 2014
Warning: Spoilers
It is Trey's 21st birthday and to get him and Ryan back together Marissa throws a party for him. It does end up badly though as one girl passes out in the pool after having ecstasy and Trey says that he gave them to her and is arrested. Meanwhile Julie deals with the guy who bribed her, Seth has a female coworker in comics that he hides from Summer and Kirsten ruins the chances of her coworker for a relationship.

A great episode Many wonderful moments I must say I really like Trey's character and hope that he won't end up in jail now, lets hope this was just his lie to keep Marissa out of trouble. I like how he is a bit complicated but yet a good person whose annoying prick of a brother doesn't want to see.

Julie coming with the gun to the guy who bribed her was also a great moment. Also loved how they ended up having a friendly night with drinks when he gave her all the videos he had left and told how it went with Caleb.

Julie Cooper with a gun!
aura77217 March 2008
Warning: Spoilers
It's Trey's 21st birthday and Marissa, anxious to help Trey and Ryan forge a relationship, throws a birthday party for Trey at the Cooper-Nichol mansion that turns out to be a rager. Seth is left in hot water by both Summer and Zach, but why? Sandy wants to continue his friendship with Carter, leaving a confused Kirsten. Meanwhile, Julie shares some memories with an "old" friend and in the process learns a few things and gains a few ideas.

Kirsten is starting to be annoying, she's acting like such a stupid loner, and mostly like a bit*h. I don't understand her behavior, she has a perfect life, perfect husband, Seth and Ryan, tons of money, a career and yet again, she has Sandy. No matter what, he loves her and she is acting so selfish. If Carter wanted a relationship with that surfer woman, friend of Sandy's, it was up to him to move on with his life, not up to her to keep him from his life.

On the other hand, I loved Trey's deed to keep Marissa out of prison, it was so nice of him, because he had a criminal record anyway, don't let Marissa go to jail. Too bad Ryan doesn't understands.

The triangle, or rhombus, Seth, Summer, Zach, Reed isn't going so well. Seth is stupid, because he has Summer, and he's willing to loose her again for the woman that's in charge of his comic book and she's not even planning to go out with him... ever. Not that she would go with Zach, but at least he can have fun and forget about Summer. Seth seems so selfish that he wants both women, and since he has Summer, the love of his life, why does he have to scr*w things up every time?

Trey's Birthday
jaann5 November 2006
After the last fight between brothers Trey moved in Alex's old place. When Merissa found out that after few days is going to be Trey's birthday, she wanted to throw a party over Nichol's Residence. She told about it Ryan.. Who freaked out, when heard about it. Anyway, Seth convinced Ryan to go over Trey's and felicitate Trey. When Ryan and Seth were in front of Trey'is place they saw Trey leaving with suspicious car, so they followed him. They saw Trey giving money to some guy and suspected him buying drugs. Next day Ryan rushed into Trey and demanded an explanation. Trey told him that he gave 5 bucks to an old friend from prison. Ryan was shocked and was sorry. Merissa organized that party and brought brothers together. The party went over hand and some girl passed out after taking drugs in pool. Cops game and wanted to arrest Merissa, but Trey said it was him who gave drugs to the girl.

Julie went over Lance and threatened him with empty gun, she wanted him to feel what is like to lose everything within a moment. Lance was sorry and apologized in front of her. They met and had a couple of drinks and Lance gave her rest of the other tapes. Seth and Zach went to a meeting about the comic book. They found out that the guy they had to met wasn't really a guy, he was she. Zach was seduced by the woman and went out with her to Trey's party.

Carter and Sandy had a great time together by surfing.. and that they met Sandy's friend.. "Some Woman" (don't remember the real name).. Sandy and Kirsten arranged a dinner with them. Looked like "The Woman" liked Carter.

a well made episode
marius_dobers25 October 2006
This in one of the greatest episodes. I mean the party scenes are awesome. An this episode shows really great , that Kirsten is interested in Carter. And Nikki is such a good actress and its lovely to see her play. It's also a nice scene when Ryan tries to kiss Marissa and the "scream" comes. At last a big compliment to Adam Brody and Michael Cassidy for the acting at the party. The "gay or not gay - conversation " is such one of the best comedy performances at the show. The music for this episode was so well chosen. The remix of Touch it sounds so great and fits in the O.C. party music. In my opinion this is a highlight on the show.
