Girl's night out, guy's night in and Julie Cooper-Nichol magazine.

Seth is thrown when Alex's ex arrives in town for a visit, and is even more thrown when he finds out who it is. Julie has a plan to try and save The Newport Group, which to everyone's surprise, might actually work. Lindsay sticks out when she joins Summer and Marissa for a girls night out; meanwhile, Ryan, Seth and Zach contemplate playing it safe on a guys' night in. But nothing ever goes as planned.

Seth is terrified at the thought of meeting one of Alex's ex boyfriends. He really expects some tuff rocker dude.

The guys (Seth, Ryan and Zach) are becoming friends, acting funny and keeping the irony up with the boyfriend being friends with the ex and stuff like that.

There is lots of drama in town within the couples: Alex's ex is in town and she is a girl, it is Zach and Summer's 6 month anniversary and she is not too enthusiastic, and Lindsay is a bit intimidated by Marissa. So they have a guys night out and a girls night out but then they intersect and there is more trouble happening.

A pretty good episode. So much is happening and well performed. Alex is indeed a fun character, always something like that with her. Also liked the final moment between her and Marissa, I didn't expect them hooking up but one can see that they both thought of it in this time when looking at each other.
