Warning: Spoilers
Kirsten hits rock bottom after Caleb's funeral, prompting Sandy to finally take action; Jimmy Cooper resurfaces and almost immediately renews ties with a mourning Julie; Jess bullies Trey into participating in a drug deal that turns into a shootout; Ryan finally learns the truth about what happened between Trey and Marissa, leading to a bloody confrontation.

Trey is so messed up, sometimes I feel so much pity for him, sometimes I like his bad boy look, but most times he's really annoying. The look on his face was memorable, when Marissa shot him. Obviously, since Oliver, she even starts shooting people to protect Ryan. She never thought about herself. Ryan should remember that when they will have their next fight. Seth and Summer are so cute to be there for their friends...

This season finale end in such an "O.C." manner. In the first season finale, the boys where going different directions and both the girls were pretty lost with alcohol and shrink counseling. Unlike that one, the second season finale ended with the four friends being there for each other, in good and bad. Well, in this case, in tragedy.

Warning: Spoilers
It is Caleb's funeral and we see many faces that have left the town before. Jimmy and Julie get closer. Kirsten gets an intervention and ends up in a rehab. Marissa tells Summer what happened with her and Trey, she tells it to Seth and Seth tells to Ryan. Ryan goes and confronts him, they have a fight and Marissa shoots Trey.

Wow, a very dramatic finale. The whole Kirsten being an alcoholic thing is pretty ridiculous, but oh well. Good acting at least.

The ending was just insane though. I hope Trey isn't dead. I can't stand Ryan and Marissa. Ryan is just a lucky nobody loser who tried to be tough. If it wasn't for him Trey would have never hit him and that dumb girl of his wouldn't get to shoot him. A great way to end a season though to have the crowd waiting.
