Robb Morrow does a great job as an incredibly sick man. Once again, he can't accept the diagnosis of the townspeople, many of whom have suffered from this. He is angry and abusive, especially to Maggie who puts up with it. It is a masterful acting job. Meanwhile, Ed finds himself waking up in strange places (at precipitous heights), including a tree branch and the ledge of a two story building. The local shaman says Ed has been given the gift and may be set to be a shaman himself. I thought that the Shelly's stupid singing was over but she continues through most of this episode. It is one of the dumbest developments this show has come up with.
