Joel and Maggie have been to a tribal group to do inoculations, but on the return flight the plane's engine cuts out and they are force to land in a field. Of course, Maggie keeps her cool and Joel goes nuts. First he is happy they have survived and then he spends two days complaining. Maggie can barely stand him as he rants and spews sarcasm. She is trying to fix the engine. While this is going on, a young woman from Shelly's past shows up. Shelly is not happy to see her because they used to be best friends and she has become very attractive. She sort of take over the town with her hair dressing skills. There is a lot of conflict. She wants Shelly to finally get a divorce from that Wayne guy so things can move forward.
