Hit and Miss, But Fun Idea
Hitchcoc29 March 2023
Each of the characters (other than Joanna, though she appears in two of them) has a dream. I liked the first one the best where Stephanie decides to become an excellent maid, Michael becomes a normal person with dedication to the quality of his programming, and Larry and Brothers announce they are moving back into the woods. The one with George is typical of a grounded guy who is happy with the world. Michael has a reason for winning all his awards, which we find out toward the end of his dream. Larry dreams he is the host of the Tonight Show, where the Darryls are like Ed and Doc. They have real guests, including Joan Embery from the San Diego Zoo. Stephanie lives under the evil Joanna who tortures her with work. It's just that some of it is not particularly funny, but it's not bad.

Warning: Spoilers
It's bedtime for Dick, George, Stephanie, Michael and Larry and we see their dreams.

The show goes surreal for this funny episode. The first scene shows Dick being surprised by Stephanie wanted to work harder, Michael speaks normally and Larry and the Darryls say they are moving away and will not bother him again. That's when we find out it's all a dream. George's dream seems ordinary until he suddenly flies through the air. Stephanie dreams she is a damsel in distress imprisoned by an evil witch (Joanna). Michael is a big time TV exec with awards and yes men, this sequence is speeded up for some reason (maybe for time constraints.) Funniest of all is Larry being the guest host of the Tonight Show with sidekick Darryl and bandleader Darryl.
