We've been watching NCIS since the beginning of time...or it seems like it. We have never seen this episode, really! and here it is November 2020. Thanks for showing UNDER COVERS again. NCIS was our favorite program, by far, of anything on TV....then, NCIS LA came along, then, NCIS started losing their stars, and though NCIS was still solid, it lost much of the chemistry that LA has.
Back to this episode. This episode is why NCIS was & could be the best show on TV, and it all comes down to the chemistry of all the characters. When Kate went away I thought this was the end of this show, then Ziva stepped in and the chemistry between her & Tony was palpable...OMG, just like this episode. This episode is everything that the new NCIS isn't. I will say though that NCIS is just a tic away from LA.
We really enjoyed this episode. The only thing we didn't see was Gibbs slapping Tony or even McGee on the side of the head. Loved how Ziva says things backwards and she has to be corrected "calling the pot black." So, so, so great to see an old episode again.
Please don't hate me for being critical of the new NCIS, it's still great, just not like the beginning.
