Many things revolve around Janice's mistakes which Kelly has tried to remedy with no help from her. There is an ATM scam with NYU students in the middle of everything. Martinez becomes the hero of the day, just after being promoted to detective. Fancy and his wife have been taking care of woman's son (she has had serious drug problems). She has completed rehab and now the boy is being returned to her. They are trying for six weeks to make sure, but the courts feel otherwise. He has embraced Fancy' family. It is a sad situation. In another silly parting, John and Janice part ways again.
