This was a very good conclusion to the first season of NYPD Blue. It begins with investigation into the murder of a priest from the previous episode. There is a tug between his work in the streets and his good nature. The second, and most poignant, involves the man whose daughter disappeared over two years ago. While Andy is looking into cars at a police auction of unclaimed vehicles for his son, he realizes there is a guy on the scene who was not there when the original investigation took place. He pursues it doggedly. Janice gets a lawyer to defend her. Sylvia continues to keep at arm's length while Andy deals with his alcoholism. And, of course, Robin becomes John's next conquest, with the obligatory final scene.
