This episode draws its strength from some really good police work. The best offerings are those where it seems that they have absolutely nothing to go on. Here, a guy who doesn't pay a debt ends up at the station and the dominos start to fall. We are also introduced to Russel's family, especially her father who is a consummate abuser and a louse. Her mother is hopelessly ineffectual. She also has a brother who tries to keep all this together. A final scene is set up by her attempts to deal wth the family problems.
