We are introduced to a family, the father a cop for many years, and his wife also a cop. While the two are having lunch, she notices a couple men entering a check cashing service, eventually killing two people. When the husband attempts to apprehend on of them, one of the perps shoots him in the back, killing him. The rest of the story takes off from there. Kelly is really close to this family and the future will be interesting. Bradley Whitford plays a TV crime reporter who brings in the shooter, making all kinds of assumptions about the police with only the word of the shooter a fact. In other news, Medavoy is getting cold feet after talking to his children and his wife pleading with him.
