Quit smoking is the new objective of Earl but soon the help of his brother Randy and Catalina will change his plans. Now Earl must deal with Donnie, a man who spends two years in prison for a crime that Earl committed. But actually the real problem is going to be Donnie's mother & her addiction to tobacco and Earl's ex-wife who wants to kill him.
This episode has a great message to all the smokers in the world and focuses in the friendship that Earl and Donnie's mother create thanks to their fight against tobacco. This time the flashbacks are great, when we see how Earl committed the crime is great, and the gags are just hilarious. Randy is just fun, especially with the reference to Darth Vader. The music is great with "Smoke! Smoke! Smoke! (That Cigarette)" that is perfect for the episode.
Conclusion: this is a terrific episode; we can say that this is the first one of the series because the previous was just the pilot so is a terrific start. 9 out of 10
