That's what Earl used to think about Natalie, a girl who was just the opposite of him so when he realizes that they start to have a serious relation, he fake his own dead. This terrific episode begins with Earl and Randy returning the things that they stole from a grocery store but suddenly their new objective is to tell the truth to Natalie. With the typical flashbacks we can see how was the relation between Earl and Natalie that was really strange and hilarious for us. Earl fake his own dead because he doesn't want to hurt Natalie's feelings, yes a typical thought of the old Earl, and now he realize that Natalie could have a new relation with a guy named Dirk. But actually, after Dirk fake his own dead too, we can see that the real problem wasn't Earl but Natalie who was a really insecure person. Is just great and hilarious how Earl tries to help Natalie and in the end the surprise that he really can change her.
And in this episode Randy is just hilarious with his complex explanations of simple things, for example his explanation of why being alive is better than being dead: "Yeah I'm glad she's not dead no more. Being dead is definitely worse than being alive. When you're dead you can't do all the cool stuff you can do when you're alive. You and I, we can do all kinds of cool stuff cuz we're living, we're not dead, we're alive. If we were dead we wouldn't be able to do all the cool stuff we can do, becuz we're alive. Dead people can't do cool stuff. Only people that are alive can do cool stuff, cuz they're living, and you have to be living to be able to do cool stuff. You have to be alive. Yeah, 'cept when you're alive sometimes bad stuff happens too. Like sometimes you can get into a car wreck, or you can have a headache or twist your ankle or even stub your big toe... So being alive is kinda hard too, but I think it's definitely better than being dead...."
