Margie is handling a gun and Mrs. Odettes tries to show her the proper way and shoots a hole in he wall. She and Mrs. Odettes borrows $1500 dollars to have an oil painting done of her to place over the hole. Vern finds out she borrowed the money and is worried why she needs the money. Vern gets Freddie to help. He thinks Margie has fallen for an older man and sets up for her to marry Freddie. She has a heart to heart talk with him and explains everything. Poor Freddie is left without a bride.
