Adam and eckhart are forced to work on the same side when a deadly plague breaks out threatening to eradicate all mutants. this works very well for the character of adam as he is forced to examine his own standards, and the effect which it has had on the lives of others, including forcing invulnerability upon a man who has lost his wife and children. eckhart's latest henchman is convincing in possessing complete selfishness and indifference to the plight of others, and makes a good foil for adam. this episode impresses with drama and acting rather than flashy action sequences which is very good indeed, fx are not everything when it comes to telling good stories. the large hangar used for the hospital scenes shows further ambition in terms of the scope of what the show is willing to depict.
