The magicians Quan Chi and Shang Tsung work together on a new cunning plan. This time, they don't try and fight Kung Lao, but instead send him to an alternate reality. In that fantasy realm, all his dreams seem to come true, and he meets his lost love Jen again. He does not know that if he doesn't leave that realm within 24 hours, he'll be trapped forever...
The original story idea about a different kind of trap makes the episode stand out from the rest. Kung Lao has to ask himself if he would flee from responsibility? Also it is very enjoyable to see two of the main baddies co-operating. Double danger!
