"Mork the Gullible" is another superb episode, featuring the second appearance of Robert Donner as Exidor. His introduction to snow has Mork thinking the sky is falling, until Mindy assures him that it's harmless: "boy do I feel like a flake!" At the music store escaped convict Dittman (Dan Barrows) is caught by a policeman who asks Mork to keep an eye on him, but his story of breaking out so he can visit his sick mother inspires Mork to set him free, assured that the man promised to be back the next day. Mindy asks about his night behind bars: "nobody knows the trouble I've seen" "what trouble?" "nobody knows!" Who should he find in the same cell than former Friend of Venus Exidor, arrested for religious persecution, now worshiping a more earthly creature, O.J. Simpson! (then finishing up his career with a 2 year stint with the San Francisco 49ers). Even Exidor has to laugh at Mork's trusting gullibility, but just when things look their most bleak Dittman actually returns, though a little late: "Mom got thirsty so I knocked over a liquor store!" His answer as to why he kept his word is touching: "I promised him, just because I'm a thief doesn't mean I'm a liar...he's the only one that's trusted me, except Mom - and she hides her jewelry!" 14 year old Dana Hill too excels as a bullying girl scout.
