Taut, exciting episode
shakspryn19 June 2017
Lots to like in this good episode. The plot moves on two tracks, as it often does in MI stories, which adds some interesting complexity and more excitement.

Our heroes are up against some cunning and ruthless spies working for a foreign power. We are stateside in this outing. Lesley looks great in this episode; a very sexy lady, who also shows that she is a cool and resourceful agent. Willy gets to play a more crucial role than just driving a vehicle, here! A solid effort by the whole team.

Flawed episode

Warning: Spoilers
I wanted to like this episode, but, unless I missed something, there is a huge flaw to the plot. The whole point of Dana getting kidnapped by that psycho was to prevent her from communicating to Jim that the specific deathtrap he was facing was that his car was tampered with. However, by the time Dana was able to free herself from the psycho (using a trick, I might add, that Edith Bunker would essentially duplicate years later to prevent getting raped on the famous All in the Family episode, "Edith's 50th Birthday"!), Jim was already in the car and it was already out of control. Dana's warning call to Jim did not alter Jim's situation. He would have jumped out of the careening call ANYWAY. So what was the point of that whole subplot? It's a shame, because if Dana's kidnapping had been logically linked to the mission, this would have been a good episode.

Outrageous

Warning: Spoilers
They finally had a chance to catch Albert (P is silent) Pfister and they blew it only to catch Shoulders.

The main plot is awfully boring. They want to steal a rocket? "Click" now please steal it, cause it's a bogus rocket.

Come on!

It looks like they wanted this episode to be Phelps's drama, but Peter Graves is not an actor of necessary skills for such installment. That is why it is boring.

Shoulders kidnapping This Week's Chick was a nice addition, but still not enough for a whole episode.

And to think that they were eye to eye with the worst criminal Albert (P is silent) Pfister and they blew it to save the chick. Outrageous!!!

If you see nonsense in this review is only because this episode is a one huge dump of nonsense.
