Real-life boxing champ Sugar Ray Robinson guest starred as Buckman's henchman Wesley. Robinson (1921-89) was a six-time world champion, winning the Welterweight Title and then the Middleweight Title five times in a professional boxing career spanning 25 years.

When he is sparring with Greg Morris, Robert Conrad appears to be dwarfed. Morris was 6' 2", and it is quite possible Conrad was shorter than the 5' 8" he claimed. Most sources indicate his height at 5' 7". Conrad had legitimate boxing skills as a welterweight. His amateur record was 29-2-1, and his professional record was 4-0-1.
