Peggy gives the finger but it's Steve who's afraid!
Sylviastel28 May 2009
This is not one of my favorite episodes. The family waits for Peggy to return home with a Beta videotapes. Of course, Beta was beaten by VHS overwhelmingly. With a few choices, Peggy disappoints the family. Steve gets cut off by a guy who has a bumper sticker reading "I heart San Quentin." Afraid, the guy follows him home to the Bundys and then calls. Things get worse when Steve thinks the guy is coming to revenge him for cutting him off so Steve invites the Bundys over for a night watching VHS tapes in their home. When they do meet the fellow that was causing so much trouble, they are in for quite a surprise. It's an okay episode.

Steve gets in a small fight.
BA_Harrison29 September 2022
On the way back from the video store, Steve is cut up by a driver with an 'I Heart San Quentin' bumper sticker; passenger Peggy makes the situation worse by giving the driver the finger. When Steve arrives home, he is worried that the man has followed him back and that he will have to fight him.

The Harder They Fall isn't one of the season's funniest episodes, but at least there's no Pauly Shore in this one, and Steve Rhoades sucker punches a 'little person', so it's not a total loss. Marcy continues to display psychotic tendencies, lusting after blood, keen to see Steve pummel the guy, unaware that her husband has never been in a fight before.

Bud and Al have the funniest exchange of dialogue...

Al: 'Hot pigeons, you say!' Bud, grabbing tongs and a dish to collect half-cooked birds from the radiator of Steve's Mercedes: "I'm way ahead of you Dad."
