Kelly dates a powerful politician!
Sylviastel16 June 2009
Al can't get the pothole fixed on his street but Kelly's new boyfriend can. It turns out that she's dating an alderman or councilman for the city of Chicago. With Kelly's new connections, Al becomes like the godfather to the neighborhood and even uses the Marlon Brando voice to the D'Arcys and the neighborhood paperboy who keeps throwing the newspapers on the street. He is getting to eat again which is what Al always wanted. But with Kelly's new boyfriend, he decides to collect and cash in on his power by coming with a plan to scam the meter maids shoe contract. There is only one problem with Kelly's new boyfriend that comes out in the press.

One Of My Favourite Episodes

Another 10/10 episode of "Married With Children" in Season 5.

Plot In A Paragraph: Al becomes "Godfather" to the neighbourhood when Kelly starts dating an older politician tipped to be the next Mayor of Chicago.

I can't praise the cast of this show enough Peggy's (Katey Segel) is a lot of fun as she keeps cutting Kelly's (the gorgeous Christina Applegate looks incredibly sexy) to make them look sluttier. Bud (Davd Faustino) does a good job as "Fredo" but the highlight of the show is once again Ed O'Neil as Al Bundy. The scenes where he is impersonating the Godfather are comedy gold.

One of my favourite episodes. Season 5 of Married With Children is the show at the height of it's greatness.

Al and Kelly make this one worthwhile.

The plot for this episode is no great shakes: Kelly dates a 41-year-old, which Al isn't too happy about until he learns that the man in question is in the running for mayor and that knowing him has its advantages. However, what makes this one worth your time is Christina Applegate looking gorgeous, and Al's Godfather routine, power going to the man's head.

Applegate wears a tight blue top and a couple of outfits that Peggy makes even more revealing with a pair of scissors, and Ed O'Neill is great doing his best Marlon Brando impersonation, even getting Marcy and Jefferson to kiss his ring (oo-err!).
