In this episode, we get to see what Kelly would look like with brunette hair: hot, of course! She's trying out the new look (a wig) so that she will be taken seriously for her part in a public service announcement film.
However, the main plot revolves around Jefferson's purchase at a memorabilia auction: a nurse Barbie intended as a gift for Marcy, but which Jefferson wants to sell after he finds out that it is extremely rare and worth $50,000. Jefferson cooks up a plan to get the doll back from his wife and sell it, but this requires Al to take his neighbour's place in bed next to Marcy.
The big laughs come once Al is laying next to the sleeping Marcy, the poor man having to put his hand on her tush to ensure that she doesn't wake up. Things get even funnier when Marcy's hot niece Amber comes into the room (Al hides his face under a pillow) and tells Marcy that she has period pains. Al perks up when Amber tells her aunt that her breasts are swollen and lifts up her top so that she can see; Al can't help but take a peek.
In the end, Jefferson finally comes back and tells Al that he has gambled and lost all of the money he made from selling the doll. Al returns home to find out that Peggy has thrown out the first issue of Big 'Uns magazine that he got at the auction.
