Can this be my life?
Sylviastel16 June 2009
Al and Peggy Bundy get to spend the evening at the Darcys watching "Beaches" with Bette Midler and Barbara Hershey as two friends. While there, they contemplate what their lives could have been in their minds. Telepathically, they are singing memories of the corner of my mind. While Bud has a date and got Kelly a babysitting gig with the Hubbard children of hell who tie her up and have her read a children's story. The episode is fine but not really one of the best episodes for the series. I thought this episode could have been better and the Hubbard children proved that Kelly is gullible in excepting her brother's orders around. I liked the Bundys and Darcys bonding over the movie scene best of all and their innermost thoughts going on. Jefferson wanting to be a porn star in Los Angeles. Marcy insecure about her breast size. Al complaining that the movie is ions long.

Al And Jefferson Make This Episode For Me

Warning: Spoilers
Another good episode of "Married With Children" in season five.

Plot In A Paragraph: Al and Peggy spend the night at the Darcy's watching the movie Beaches, whilst Bud tricks Kelly in to babysitting seven neighbourhood children so he can take a date to a concert.

Ed O'Neil once again rules the show as Al Bundy, Katey Segel is good fun as Peggy (her chemistry wit O'Neil plays well) the gorgeous Christina Applegate doesn't have much to do here, likewise David Faustino as Bud, who seems to be appearing in two scenes per episode of late (as a side note bud loses his virginity in this episode) Amanda Bearse gets her first decent amount of screen time for ages as Marcy, and this is the first time since his first episode that we get to see a decent amount of Ted McGinley as Jefferson.

Season 5 of Married With Children is the show at the height of it's greatness.
