When the family inherits a windfall of $237.00 from a deceased relative, they don't know what to do with it. The kids want concert tickets. The Rhoades suggest an evening out at a fancy restaurant in Chicago with a house band and great food. The family makes fools of themselves looking and gawking at other people's meals. When the check for their meals for four steaks come, Al left the check at home. Bud and Kelly go home to collect the money to pay off the bill. All the while, Al and Peggy try to stall their payment. The end is probably the best part and I don't think it could have been more appropriate and funny in characterizing Al and Peggy.

Not-so-fine dining.

After Peggy's Uncle Henry dies and leaves her $237, the family decides to blow the lot on a slap-up meal at a fancy restaurant. When it comes to settling the bill, Al realises that he has left his wallet at home, and so Kelly and Bud drive back to get the cash; however, the kids opt to spend the money on tickets for a concert instead, leaving Al and Peggy in an awkward situation.
This is one of those episodes that is a little too daft for its own good. The Bundy's eating like animals is mildly entertaining, but once Al and Peg are left to try and find a way out of their predicament, matters get very silly, the pair eventually holding the restaurant staff at bay with Al's smelly shoes while making their escape. It's all a bit too cartoonish, and it doesn't address how they intend to get home without a car or avoid being arrested by the police for blatant theft.
