Gary organises a sales contest to decide which of her shoe shop employees will get a pay raise, but when Al and Griff discover that their boss runs a sweatshop they figure a better way to earn more money is to blackmail her. Meanwhile, Peggy has won a microwave oven, keeping the prize a secret from Al, who would only want her to use it to prepare meals for him.
By Season 11, Married With Children had run its course and the gags had become rather predictable. This episode isn't terrible - there are a few comedic gems to be found (Al's comment when he sees Marcy holding an oven-ready chicken and Al struggling to hold his tongue when fat women enter the shoe store) - but neither is it as fresh or as funny as the show in its prime. Once again, Marcy spoils things for Al by exposing Gary's illegal activities on TV, meaning that he won't be getting his hush money after all.
