Blackout

I think this show had jumped the shark by this point, but was still able to come up with the odd excellent episode like this one even in its latter years.

There are some very funny moments here.

Warning: Spoilers
Julia Levy-Boeken (who is half-Dutch), Anastasia Baranova and Ellen Hollman played the Dutch teenage girls in this innovative episode that rewinds literally at key moments.

The ending was touching with Dewey becoming a man.

Very Fun episode, feels like another show.

Very fun episode, feels completely different from the rest of the show. The camera angles were done great and the story is funny. Francis shows up again, it has been a while since we saw him in season 7, at ine point I thought they just cancelled him out without any explanation. As always Francis went back to his old ways, no job and lying to his parents. I don't see Francis end up happy in the series, but I am very curious how they will end the series.

The Dutch girls that Malcom wants to have a party with are definitely NOT Dutch because the little parts they tried to announce sounded like someone who tried to read from a book for the absolute first time in life. But in Hollywood Dutch characters are very rarely actually Dutch or even close.

It was funny how Dewy outsmarted everyone, but they all deserved it in the end because every si gle one of them was either lying, stealing, or sneaking around. Good ol' Dewey!

The series lost a little of it's magic but is still very solid, with actual top episodes between them.

The greatest episode of the series and the most exciting and funny episode of any series ever!

The absolute best part of the episode, is well, how much stuff actually goes on at once and that the camera swaps which part of the house the things go on in. I especially liked the subplots: Francis wants to steal a fish from Hal's shed, Malcolm wants to get his parents out of the house to throw a party with some Dutch girls, Reese is assisting Malcolm even though Hal wants him to cook Kobe beef, tricking him that he and Hal will have them but actually Lois and Hal will have them because its their anniversary. I really liked how they make it so that tricking and lying is the way to go!

The absolute best part of the episode is the ending! I really found funny how when Reese was cooking the Kobe beef, he added sleeping drugs into the sauce for no apparent reason! That's what makes me laugh! It's not like the dope will improve the taste or make them go on a trippy experience after the meal! I also really admired how Dewey didn't have any of the beef because just after the dope has tranquillized the rest of his nuclear family, he was able to finally have cereal for dinner, and with the Dutch chicks that Malcolm invited!

This is, in my opinion, the 2nd or 1st greatest episode of all television or web series ever made! This title, is DEFINITELY Paul Stompbox revered!

Nice episode but fake Dutch
joelle-7570512 May 2023
Why would you call them Dutch girls if they totally aren't? The accent is very bad and looks more like German or Swedish. I am from the Netherlands and couldn't understand what they were trying to say when they were speaking to each other, it gives a totally wrong view to the language Dutch. Also Dutch people are way better in speaking English than that those girls were. Very disappointed. Just call them Swedish girls, don't try to fake Dutch it was very obvious! The rest of the episode was great and fun like all the episodes are. I like that Dewy outsmarted them all. It's nice to watch him grow up.
