For the season 4 opening Episode, they did some really strange stuff. It's a murder mystery with Penny Parker, and I'm surprised it worked so well. I still remembered part of this one from when I watched it as a child. It's cheesy, it's "scary", and though it only has one MacGyver, that MacGyver is top notch. (It better work Jeff) However, I question why they experimented with a different genre for the opening episode of season 4. However, this episode aired on Halloween! (October 31st, 1988.) It's unfortunate that context like that gets lost 35 years later. All in all it's a memorable episode, as far as MacGyver goes. 7.5/10.
