  Jimmy 'The Eraser' Kendall : I lived by the beach when I was a kid in Jersey city. Well, it really wasn't a beach, it was a drainage ditch. But my mother said it was a beach and I believed.

• MacGyver : All right, where are you staying?

  Jimmy 'The Eraser' Kendall : Ah, some fleabag hotel. The Armstrong. The roaches are friendly.

  MacGyver : [voice-over narration]  A man once said, he went to a fight and a hockey game broke out. Lots of people think fighting's a part of the sport. Well, it shouldn't be. Played the right way, it requires skill, coordination, stamina, and finesse. Of course, a little muscle didn't hurt.

  Jimmy 'The Eraser' Kendall : [on being asked if he played in Major League baseball]  That's right. '47 Braves. And I can honestly say, for a two-week stretch, team couldn't go anywhere without me.

  MacGyver : [fade back to MacGyver responding to Pete's question]  Yep. I think he will like it a lot.
