Two plots going on. A young Korean man wins a ping-pong tournament for the unit. Later he announces that he wants to be married and introduces his bride to be. Complications set in when he is shanghaied by the Korean army. The other plot involves an old officer friend of the Colonel's who needs just five more days in combat to retire a full colonel. The problem is that he has become incompetent and a danger to his men. They feel he is responsible for their being at the MASH unit. What will Potter do? There is also a traditional Korean wedding performed. It's a nice balance of hopefulness and the sadness of war. It also shows how detached the people at the top could be.

Richard Narita guest stars in this wedding episode of M*A*S*H, and he plays a champion table tennis (aka ping pong) player who is planning to get married. A sober subplot is one of Potter's close friends causing mayhem and death by sending his troops in a desperate situation.
Frank is his usual racist self, thinking all Asians are the same.
