- Klinger and Major Burns get into a brawl in the post-op ward, tumbling over one another as well as patients in their beds. Father Mulcahy tries to break it up but gets a kick in the stomach, winding him. In the end, Klinger knocks out Major Burns.

- An agitated Klinger carries a hand grenade toward the post-op ward, threatening to blow up Major Burns with it. When Father Mulcahy tries to intervene and take the grenade, Klinger threatens to pull the pin and blow up himself and Mulcahy on the spot. After much gentle persuasion from Mulcahy, Klinger gives up the grenade.
