Channing Chafes this Crusty Critic

Warning: Spoilers
It's a 90 minute episode. This time, it's a special cruise involving a wine tasting competion. Leslie and Benson are two of those competing to win. Carol Channing makes her first appearance as Julie's aunt Slyvia. She's doing, uh, a Southern accent? I just hate it. It's just the worst thing ever. I mean, some people find Charo annoying. Carol Channing is my Charo. And I know she makes a whole bunch more guest spots. We're all just gonna have to deal with it. On the plus side, Carol is here with Betty White, and she's always pleasant. I mean, she's the Queen of Game Shows, and she's wonderful here too. Betty is after Douglas Fairbanks Jr, making his second appearance. Annie (Tanya Tucker) and Kevin divorce regularly (for tax reasons.) This time, old school chum Jeff is moving in! We waste some of the run time with another rendition of the Panama Canal footage. Been there, done that. Oh and there's something about Vicki writing to her favorite football player. I mean, Vicki needs something to do, right? I don't know anything about wine. I guess it's for rich people. On Kafka's Love Boat Scale, this episode 2 * out of a possible 4 *.
