Warning: Spoilers
Although there was no episode-ending cliffhanger - more like a hint of what is to come in the second season - "The House of Luthor" was a fantastic season finale (featuring a cameo by the voice of Darth Vader, James Earl Jones), and by the end of the episode, things are starting to get back to normal in Metropolis. It took a lot of work: Superman imprisoned in a jail cell whose bars were laced with kryptonite in the Lexcorp building, whilst Perry, Jimmy and Jack raced to find the evidence that Lex Luthor, who is soon to be betrothed to Lois, was responsible for the destruction of the Daily Planet.

Whilst there were a few weak and/or underwhelming episodes, by and large the first season of 'Lois and Clark' delivered plenty of fun with a talented cast and storylines that didn't take themselves too seriously. Onto season two!
