"Requiem for a Superhero"

A great episode evenly split between Superman and Lois/Clark. The two intrepid reporters become partners - at least temporarily, and Lois isn't too happy about it - to investigate a prize title fight in Metropolis, which brings them into contact with Lois' father, Dr Sam Lane. There are clearly some issues between father and daughter. So, the prize fight is a little sketchy, with Lex Luthor in the background pulling the strings, and manages to come out smelling like roses, again. John Shea is really good in the role, even if he has hair, which is weird after watching Kevin Spacey, Michael Rosebaum and Gene Hackman.
