- Harper Anderson: [to a lawyer defending a rapist] You're going to burn in hell.
- Rothberg: [smiling] I'm Jewish, Miss Anderson. There is no hell.
- Kenneth Cleary: [to Munch and Fin outside a train station] What's the agenda here, gentlemen? You trying to make me crazy?
- Detective Odafin "Fin" Tutuola: Hell, no. Way too late for that.
- Kenneth Cleary: And you are?
- Detective Odafin "Fin" Tutuola: The knot in the pit of your stomach.
- Detective Olivia Benson: [Benson and Stabler interview a newsstand owner who saw the woman who anonymously reported a rape in progress from a payphone] Could you describe her to a police sketch artist?
- George: I didn't get a look at her face. I was too busy trying to get Ginger into the car.
- Detective Elliot Stabler: Do you remember what she was wearing?
- George: Oh, yeah. A black sweater and black slacks and thong panties.
- Detective Olivia Benson: You didn't get a look at her face, but you know she was wearing thong panties?
- George: I saw the panty-line. She had a nice ass which was more interesting to me then her face.
- George: [Benson and Stabler both throw him a "give me a break" look] I'm an ass man! I don't apologize for it.
- Harper Anderson: I don't expect anything from you.
- Detective Olivia Benson: We did everything that we could. You couldn't ID him, so we couldn't hold him.
- Harper Anderson: You could have followed him. You knew he would rape again.
- Detective Olivia Benson: I'd like to follow every guy that I know that has a propensity to rape.
- Harper Anderson: Poor police. So overworked!
- Detective Olivia Benson: Harper, you're not equipped to deal with this.
- Harper Anderson: I'm equipped. I don't approach him. I'm doing what any private investigator would do and I don't need a license to do it for myself.
- Detective Olivia Benson: You're harassing his wife.
- Harper Anderson: Give me a break! She's enabling a rapist. And you're too busy to deal with him, so I will.
- Detective Elliot Stabler: [through the Cleary's front door] Mrs. Cleary, Detective Stabler.
- Meredith Cleary: I don't want to talk to you.
- Detective Elliot Stabler: Mrs. Cleary, rape victims aren't just the women who are attacked. Rape victims include their families and the rapist's families...
- Meredith Cleary: [opens the door] I am not a victim and I don't want you standing on my stoop shouting "rape" through my door.
- Detective Elliot Stabler: Yes, ma'am.
- Alexandra Cabot: I felt like I was ten years old today getting yelled at for playing in my mother's make-up.
- Alexandra Cabot: [about Cleary's re-trial] We can't do this again.
- Captain Donald Cragen: Why?
- Alexandra Cabot: We've got no case. The dream team blew holes in the victim's IDs and Mrs. Cleary, I think she sabotaged us on purpose.
- Captain Donald Cragen: What would she hope to gain by doing that?
- Alexandra Cabot: I don't know. Kenneth Cleary walks and the People get a black eye.
- Captain Donald Cragen: So it's all about you?
- Alexandra Cabot: I don't need this, Cragen.
- [begins to leave Cragen's office]
- Captain Donald Cragen: No? While you're whining about your case, seems you forgot about Harper Anderson, Lori Thatcher, the women in Philly...
- Alexandra Cabot: Don't forget Mrs. Cleary.
- Captain Donald Cragen: The biggest victim of all.
- Alexandra Cabot: You think she suffered more than her husband's victims?
- Captain Donald Cragen: She has to deal with him the rest of her life. She has his son.
- [after listening to the 911 call]
- Detective Olivia Benson: So, maybe two witnesses.
- Detective Elliot Stabler: Three, if you count the dog.
- Harper Anderson: [to Olivia] You think I'm Velma Vigilante stalking Cleary, waiting for the perfect moment to shoot him? That's not who I am.
- Detective Olivia Benson: You're not the same person I knew six months ago.
- Harper Anderson: I was a rape victim when you met me. I finally have control over my life back. I'm not interested in revenge. I'm not even interested in justice anymore.
- Detective Olivia Benson: Then why follow Cleary?
- Harper Anderson: Because I'm afraid of him and he's the last thing I'm afraid of. If I can get over that, I will have my life back completely.
- Kenneth Cleary: [Upon finding out that Detectives Munch and Tutuola will be taking the same train that he will be taking from New York to Philadelphia] Hate to disappoint you, but I don't mind the company - or the attention.
- Detective John Munch: So there's no need to ask, "Is this how you like it?"
- Kenneth Cleary: [to Stabler] Let me ask you something, one hungry man to another; is there anything better than gorging on a fresh caught meal?
- Detective Elliot Stabler: [grabs him by the tie] You won't be eating out anymore.
- Captain Donald Cragen: You move slow. We go after Cleary off this, he'll be out the door again.
- Detective Elliot Stabler: But not too slow.
- Captain Donald Cragen: Move slow as fast as you can.
- Harper Anderson: Have some wine.
- Detective Elliot Stabler: We're working.
- Harper Anderson: 6:00 P.M. Workday's done. You can have a glass of wine.
- Captain Donald Cragen: [to Olivia] You and Elliott get in the Clearys' faces. Let them know we're onto them. It may not go to making a case, but I want to diffuse this tinderbox before it blows.
- Kenneth Cleary: Every time a woman is raped you're going to come to me?
- Detective Elliot Stabler: Not every time, no.
- Kenneth Cleary: [about Harper] How long do I have to bear the brunt of this woman forgetting to take her lithium? She's obviously damaged.
- Judge Margaret Barry: [after Mrs. Cleary becomes hysterical on the witness stand, causing a mistrial] I hold you responsible, Ms. Cabot. You knew the limits set before you. You prepped your witness, you knew she was in a severe and emotional state and you now have the pleasure of starting over. In the interim, I sincerely hope you acquire some professionalism.
- Captain Donald Cragen: [about Cleary] We couldn't keep him. Not our fault.
- Detective Elliot Stabler: [about Cleary's latest rape victim] You want to tell her that?
